Trader Referrals

Blank referrals reward both sides of an accepted referral: the referrer earns 20%, the referred trader receives 10% cashback, and Blank keeps 70% of eligible net platform revenue. The split does not increase the trading fee.

Reward split

The percentages apply to eligible net platform revenue, not to the trader’s transaction amount or the full trading fee. Creator-side fee allocations are not reduced by referrals. There is no minimum trade size or trading-volume requirement.

Create and share a code

Every Blank account can create one referral code from the Referrals dashboard, including accounts that existed before the referral program launched. Choose carefully: the code is permanent and cannot be renamed after creation. Blank turns it into a shareable link in this format:
Posting that link on X, Discord, Telegram, Slack, or iMessage shows a preview card naming you as the referrer and stating the cashback the invitee gets. The card uses the display name and username on your profile, so anyone who sees the link also sees those — the same details the invite page has always shown. Only users who explicitly accept the code appear as active referrals.

Open a referral link or enter a code

Blank saves the selected code for up to 30 days. This only preserves the selection; it does not accept the referral automatically.

Review who invited you

The invite page shows the referrer the saved code belongs to before you commit to anything.

Create your account

Only new accounts can be referred. An account that existed before the referral program launched cannot attach a referrer later. Connect and verify your account wallet to create the account and accept the referral.

Accept within 30 minutes

Acceptance must happen within 30 minutes of account creation. If the window lapses, the account keeps working but cannot attach a referrer.
Once accepted, the relationship is permanent. The referred account cannot remove or change its referrer later. Self-referrals are not allowed, and each referred account can have only one referrer.
The 30-day saved-code period and the 30-minute acceptance window are separate. The 30-minute window begins when the new Blank account is created.

Which trades earn rewards

A trade earns referral rewards only when all of these are true:
  • the trader has explicitly accepted a referral;
  • the trade is built and submitted through the authenticated Blank trading flow;
  • the transaction succeeds and reaches Solana finality; and
  • Blank can verify the exact eligible platform revenue from the finalized transaction.
Eligible Blank trades can occur on the bonding curve or after graduation. Direct wallet transactions, trades routed through external aggregators, and other activity outside Blank’s authenticated trading flow are not wallet-wide attributed and do not earn referral rewards. Launch-protection premiums, migration reimbursements, upstream protocol or host fees, and unrelated platform revenue are not part of the referral pool. Blank calculates the split only from the eligible platform-side revenue it actually receives after applicable upstream charges and capped collection costs.

Track and claim rewards

The Referrals dashboard shows three reward states:
  • Pending finality: the eligible trade or its revenue allocation is still being verified;
  • Available: SOL that can be claimed to the verified account wallet; and
  • Claimed: rewards already paid through a finalized claim.
There is no minimum claim amount and Blank does not deduct a referral claim fee. The claiming wallet pays the normal Solana transaction fee. A first claim may also require Solana account rent to create the claimant’s on-chain account. If a trade fails or never lands, it creates no reward. If a claim fails or expires before landing, the available reward remains claimable and the user can try again.

Can an existing account create a referral code?

Yes. Every account can create and share one permanent code. Existing accounts just cannot accept a referrer for themselves.

Can I change the selected referrer?

Yes, before acceptance. After you accept, the relationship cannot be changed.

Are rewards wallet-wide?

No. Only eligible trades built and submitted through Blank count.

Is there a minimum?

No. There is no minimum trade size, required trading volume, or minimum claim amount for the referral program.
